Aizu-Nagano Station - 会津長野駅 (km 40.3)

Timeline - タイムライン

  1934.12.27 - opened together with the Yunokami ~ Aizu-Tajima section of the Aizu Line. 駅は湯野上駅から会津田島駅までの線路と一緒に開かれた。
  1971.4.1 - ticket sales discontinued, only operations personnel assigned; later made unmanned. チケット販売は打ち切られた、運用担当者だけが雇用された。駅はその後無人駅になった。
  1987.7.16 - Aizu Line taken over by third-sector operator Aizu Railway. 会津線は第三セクターの会津鉄道に受け継がれた。

Description - 解説

Originally had two tracks and a single island style platform, and a siding; it was later converted to a single track station (before 1974 - probably before 1971, as by then this station no longer appears on freight timetables). After the privatisation, the original station building was torn down and a new one was built immediately adjacent to the platform.

駅にて元々島式ホームのある二本の本線と側線の一本であった、その後単線のあるの駅に変換された（１９７４年の前、きっと１９７１年の前で、なぜならその時までにこの駅は貨物時刻表でもはや現れなかった）。民営化の後元の駅舎を取り壊されたことの後でホームのすぐ隣の新しい駅舎を建てられた。

Passenger Service - 旅客の勤め

All Aizu Line local trains stopped here, as did the "Aizu"/"Inawashiro" express trains in both directions. The "Oze Flower" express stopped here downbound, but did not stop on upwards trips.

会津線に走ってのすべてのローカル列車はこの駅で止まった、「あいづ」／「いなわしろ」急行列車がしたように。上りの急行「尾瀬フラワー」はここで止まったが、下りのは止まなかった。

Freight Service - 貨物の勤め

Outbound freight was mainly rice grown in the area. Freight service was discontinued sometime between 1968 and 1972 - I believe in 1971.

発出の貨物の大部分は地方で耕されたの米であった。１９６８年と１９７２年の間のある時点で貨物の勤めは廃止された、１９７１年にてであったと思います。
